Alex Fliszar is a writer, director, and producer with roots in Chicago and Los Angeles. She recently graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Media Arts Production and Writing. ​​She dabbles in magical realism in both her scripts and prose, and enjoys exploring new ways of looking at memory, relationships, and the cities she grew up in.

She has gained practical experience on several student sets at Emerson, most notably the puppet sitcom Third Bird, of which she was the Creative Executive Producer for three seasons. She also worked with artists Elliot Lee and Karli Fisher to direct and produce music videos. Most recently, she has completed production on her thesis film, Alphabet Soup.
